Pavilion Shopping Centre by night

Before coming over to Australia I had a stopover in Malaysia and I can say it was a brilliant one at that! Unfortunately when I arrived it was raining heavily & quite humid, but it was fabulous to drive from the airport into the city and see the glow of the Petronas Towers through the thick rain clouds which hoovered above the top of the towers making it look as though they had disappeared into the sky. 

Big lights, Big city & super friendly people everywhere I went. Being a solo female traveller I was cautious about being out late at night alone, however most of the tourist points in Kuala Lumpur are heavily lit and easy to find and made me feel much more at ease.

Whilst I was in Kuala Lumpur I stay at Piccolo Hotel which is very central, a stones throw from the Pavilion Shopping centre & my room had a view of the Petronas towers... Happy me! The room as you can see from the photo's was very large and spacious with an island sink & mini bar fridge underneath, free wifi & satellite TV included. The staff at the hotel were helpful in helping me locate points of interests, places to eat & things I must do whilst there. 

 A must-see for me was the Petronas Twin Towers - Go up to the observation deck for a view of the city, even better at night with the glow of the city lights. I also went to the KL Aqaurium which I fount fun, interesting and they have a touch & meet area where you can get to know creatures like - Sea Cucumbers, Starfish & Bamboo Sharks to name a few!
