I have a love for food, any type of food, mainly desserts but I literally like to try everything once because as my mum use to tell me 'How do you know you don't like it until you have tried it?' So I thank my mum for the little obsession growing inside me... Unfortunately I am not a great cook so mostly I eat out, so there is no surprise that I am always broke - between food & buying weekly magazines (another obsession of mine & a whole different story!) I am always skint!
Most recently I went for a set lunch at Belvedere Bar & Grill at Portside, Hamilton. I indulged in a 2 course lunch menu at $39.00 including a glass of house wine or sparkling, I opted for white wine going for a main dish and dessert.
My main was: Pan fried chicken breast w. sugar snap peas, roast potato & jus.
And for my dessert I chose: Blood Red orange panna cotta w. mint & rhubarb.
